Introduction to Properties:

Bessemer #1 - #4 | Steven Deposit | Childs | Rankin

With over 100 years history in iron ore, the property located in the Mayo Township of Bancroft Central Ontario Canada consists of seven distinct deposits: Bessemer 1,2,3,4, Stevens Deposit, Childs and Rankin.

Successfully Open Pit mined from 1901 to 1913, the site excavated over 160,000 toms of high grade iron ore (HGIO) and left behind a stock pile of 50,000 tons (HGIO), ready to be shipped to market. Existing infrastructure developed for the previous mine will allow RCV to transport all iron ore economically to local steel mills.

The iron ore that runs throughout the property is believed to be the result of a massive Skarn Deposit, which is normally associated with (HGIO).

Our lead Geologist, Dr. Walter V. Peredery has currently located eight out crops showing on the surface.  This makes the site a great candidate for open pit mining, making it the 3 or 4 times less expensive to operate.

Initial focus for RCV concentrates on the 3,000 acres in and around Bessemer # 3 deposit, with a 20 hole diamond drilling program to locate areas on the site that are most suitable for future open pit mining.
